On this day, you can pick 7 sorts of flowers, and putt them under your pilloow, and inn the night you have a dream who tel you who you gone to married.
For us in sweden this day is not the beggining of the summer, it is the end of the time when it being lighter and lighter, from this day it will bee darker and darker, untill the darkest day in december.

after physio today, i got on the bus to head home.
in a sleepy daze, i walked down the aisle looking for a seat on the mostly full bus.
my eyes then looked to the left and my heart went into the pit of my stomach.
Thanks fore your story, this show how difrent things can bee, i hav 5 kidds, and have always try to bee kind to them, never hitt them ore something like this, but i have now bigg problems widh two of my boys, who dont want to folow any ruels, and are more and less anarcists,drudliberals, this have made mee very sad, and i wonder why they bee like this, i have always lernd them to show respeckt and compasion,but this is anything who is far from them now, egoism is more the way. so as you see as a father i have been living and always try to help my boys, foor what,you say you love you fadher despite all bad thing he made to you, my boys ackt almost opposite, showing no gratitude at all, despite all help and love they have from ther father and mother.
I think the most important thing is ther one personalytie,you can never change that, even how nice and kind you are.
i became a jw in 1958, but was unable to attend the large convention at yankee stadium and the polo grounds in new york.
i understand that there were also two other large conventions held there in 1950 and 1953. anyone in this forum attend any of these?

I as sweed was ther 1969,as an 22 year old boy, what a memory,but iwas also most remmber theGIRLS., meet one and have a very sad goodbyon airport, hmmmm,memorys like this make mee littel sad.
then i was ther in 1973, first i Miami,and later NY, also very nice, meet lot very nice young peopel it was very exaiting for us boys from sweden to see al beutifull girls, perhapswee also was alittel exotic for this browneyd beuties.
who nows perhaps i meet some of you,never forget the kindness and hospitalyti ,we have.

i was raised a witness, and i was always told that demons were everywhere.
i was told that if you let your mind open to "wrong" thinking that demons will invade you and take over.
and just about anything could get you demonized.
you Americans are something special i think, i have never seen any demons, dont think they live here in Swden, only in holywood,i think they are.
ihave also grown upp as a JW, never was ther any talks of demons, so diffrent from Us and Europe.
perhaps it also depend on the person,,if they are very nervous, they see demons all over.
And after 11 sept i can anderstand that you folks are littetl nervous

Be happy you not live in Sweden, several stocks like The BIGG ERICSSon have complitlie broke down, from 220 to 15 kronor, i have some other stock who go down from 220 to 1,20 .
I think i have two bad habbits, stocks who have take away my money, and being on this sites as ongoing JW, not so easy for the beleife.

well then i was lucky when they told mee 3 yers ago, that it was not so good i was an elder when i have to boys not in the truth, and trobbel widh the oldest, here in sweden i think some PO have set upp high levels , and if you dont get ther, you have to qite. when this happend i have ben elder for almost 30 year.

I must say this tread is very confusing, when i go inn on this sites, as an ongoing JW, i was expecting peopel who have been doing bad thingsand bee dfd, and young peopel who dont want to bee JW, but what did I find, peopel who have been pinjeringfor several years, elders whohave been in for 30-40 years, ex behelits, i must say i am choched.
Myself was never pionjering, when i was in US 1969, and 1973,i remember that always young peopel ask me, are you a P, i said now, and then it sem like i was not so important, this i think was a difrence from sweden ,here it never have been like this, perhaps in US, you was on a higer level if you was P.
sad that so many of you have lost your belife, despit all years in service.
I find one other thing remarkebel, and it is thay you say we was selling mags, i have never se it this way, i dont sell mags, i talk widh peopel about soloutions on the problems in the world,reading in the bibel, and if they want sure they can get a mag, but never was this the goal.
